repeated reflection 6  || SonyA700/Zeiss135mmf1.8 | 1/250s | f2.8 | ISO200 | Handheld
Shot from Edward and Bay street.
You know when you take a photo but you think it could have been better? I took this a few years ago but always wanted to try it again with better gear. I have this extremely sharp Zeiss 135mm f1.8 lens only for a few week so I thought it'd be a good opportunity.

Although it looks like a macro shot, it's shot from a distance with the Zeiss 135mm lens (which on the Sony A700 camera means around 215mm considering the 1.6 sensor crop factor)

Playing with the Zeiss 135mm f1.8, it's an incredible lens.

Thanks to Peter from Sony, I have a Sony DSLR A700 camera for a month to play with. With it came an amazing Zeiss 135mm f1.8 prime lens. I've had it for a day only but am very impressed by how responsive the camera is. Image quality is great, but what's most impressive is how it handles the exposures, especially in highlights. It seems like the dynamic range of the images from this camera have more latitude in highlights than I'm used to see. It also has excellent metering. This shot was among the first 10 shots I took with the camera, so more will come when I get a little more comfortable with the Alpha700.
